Margaret Lucille "Lucy" Glymp
Margaret Lucille "Lucy" Glymp, 88, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2013 at her home.
She was born on December 31, 1924 in Roda, Virginia to the late John Russell and Julie Frazier Russell. Margaret was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. She loved working with her flowers and was a very loving mother and companion.
Margaret is preceded in death by her late husband, William Forrest Glymp; son, Perry Glymp; sisters, Bonnie Helwig and Reba Halcomb and brother, Bob Collins.
Survivors include daughters, Ann Gordon and husband Sammy of Kingsport, Wanda Griffith and Jeff of Kingsport; sons, Joe Glymp of Kingsport, Ronnie Glymp and wife Gladys of Kingsport, Ralph Glymp and wife Bridget of Palm Bay, FL; brother, Roy Clark, Jr. of Johnson City; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and a special companion, Gary Salyer of Kingsport.
The visitation will be held on Thursday October 31, 2013 from 5 until 7 p.m. in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel at Oak Hill Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday October 31, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the J. Wayne Hamilton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Larry Bledsoe officiating.
The inurnment service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Garden D at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Bledsoe officiating.
